Calling Knitters & Crocheters!

Christmas is just about 3 months away, and your skills are needed once again for a very important ministry which is part of St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center, the Christmas Gift Distribution. We are looking for crafters to knit or crochet scarves to be included in the Adult Gift Boxes for Christmas 2023. Last year, 754 adults received a scarf because of the overwhelming generosity and talent of donors just like you.

If you would be willing to help this year, the scarves can be knitted or crocheted, using a pattern of your choice, with a suggested minimum size of 5-7 inches wide by 54-60 inches long. Equal numbers of adult male and female colors are needed. Additionally, please include fiber content if the yarn is wool or a wool blend due to possible allergies. Finished scarves can be kept until later in the year or you can call Laurie at (810) 659-9744 for alternate arrangements. (Drop Off or Porch Pick Up or an Exchange at a centralized location, for example). Final collection will be the end of November 2023. Updates will be posted in the Fall in the bulletin. For any further questions, please call Laurie at the above number.

Thank you for the heartfelt gift of your time and talent!
